Magots Mohawk

Paris may be a traditional city, but as an international epicenter for burgeoning artistic movements, political revolution, intellectual discourse and architectural audacity, the City of Lights is also a City of Fights and constantly presents a study in contrasts.

This image was taken in the shadow of the ancient Eglise Saint-Germain-des-Prés (almost 1500 years old), across from the bustling cafe crowd of Les Deux Magots (almost 150 years old), and is punctuated by a 20-year-old character stuck in a fashion vortex from 40 years ago. A mohawk, les magots and a monastery...just your (a)typical street corner in Paris.
